Worldwide event of poets will also be “realized” in Morena City.

A poet from Southern Mato Grosso, Delasnieve Miranda Daspet de Souza, was invited to organize an event “100 Thousand Poets for Change” promoted by the North American Poet Michael Rothenberg. The demonstrations will be on the 24th of September, simultaneously, in about 65 countries and 325 cities in various regions of the world. 


According to the poet, the intention is that each city promote an event with an issue focused on social politics. “I want to unite poets of Campo Grande (Capital city of the state Mato Grosso) and up to the state level for an action on July 14th Street, with poetry readings and even paintings of verses on the windows of stores on that street.” says Delasnieve.

For the poets, the event can be organized during peace week, in the Capital, the 19th to the 22nd of September. “I want to extend and make the finale of the week on the day of the 24th, which is a Saturday. I think it would be a way to close in grand style.” she stresses.
