μη θλιβεσαι για μενα αλλαγη              Not sadden about me, Change,
μη κλαις για μενα φυση                      Do not weep about me, Nature,
σκυβει για λιγο η κεφαλη                    bending the head a little,
λυγιζουνε τα γονατα – δεν πεφτω        bend the knees – not fall,
οχι η εικονα μου αυτη                         not my picture this
δεν ειναι λυπημενη                             shall not be sad,
για δακρυα δεν ειναι                           in tears it is not

καποιοι του κοσμου μας τρελοι          some people of our world, insane,
πηραν το μελλον μας ζαλια                took our future burden
κι αλλοι τους λενε ποιητες                 and others call them, poets
αλλοι αλλοπαρμενους                       others call them barmy,

μη κλαις για μενα αλλαγη                  Do not weep about me Change
μη κλαις για μενα φυση                     Do not weep about me Nature

εκεινοι οι τρελοι ευθυνονται               those crazy responsibles,
που φερνω τετοια εικονα                  which brings such image,
που δειχνω ταχα κατι                        showing something supposedly,
που φαινομαι σαν καποιος                they looks like somebody.

ολα υπο ελεγχο                                 everythingl under control
μου ειπαν οι τρελοι                            told me by the mad’s

μη θλιβεσαι για μενα αλλαγη           don’t distressed for me change
μη κλαις για μενα φυση                   don’t cry for me nature
σκυβει για λιγο η κεφαλη                 it bends for little the head
