In Rockbridge county, VA, we’re slating some artistic ‘flash-mobs’–a confluence of words, music, art performances, and taking it to various and ‘unlikely’ spaces in our community forum (the library, recycling center, jailhouse, courthouse steps, coffee shop, Wal*mart, sporting field, to name a few) staged, filmed and photographed to get the message out to the streets–that need the the inspiration of poetry and meaning to shake up the mundane, apathetic, and predictable in our lives.
